Eric Render: Company President:

Eric Render is a second generation contractor formally educated at Michigan State University studying both Construction Management and Business Administration. Eric has been a State Licensed Builder from the age of nineteen. As a high school and collegiate athlete and team captain, Eric has always embraced the role of a team leader. From a young age Mr. Render has developed a tenacious work ethic and construction knowledge learned from his father and uncle, both veteran construction contractors. Eric believes that the most rewarding aspect of his career is pulling a team together to turn our client’s vision from a dream to reality.

Nick Shelton: Project Design & Estimating

Mr. Shelton has over twelve years experience in Computer Aided Design and project management. Nick has earned a Construction Management Degree from Ferris State University. Nick has worked in both commercial and residential construction in both design and project management. Mr. Shelton is a valuable member of the Render Construction Team.

Julie Forman: Accounting

Mrs. Forman brings nearly twenty years of accounting experience to the Render Construction team. Keeping meticulous financial and project records is a vital part of the construction process. Julie has been a valuable addition to the company since she joined us in 2005.

Randy Brent: Project Lead Carpenter

With thirty years of fine homebuilding experience Mr. Brent is a master carpenter with a particular expertise in full hand scribed log homes and fine finish carpentry. Randy has also completed extensive training through the Alan Makie School of Log Building, of Chase, British Columbia. After the work day concludes Randy enjoys time spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Thomas “Murph” Lindbert: Lead Carpenter

Mr. Lindbert acts as a crew leader and journeymen carpenter. Murph brings over twenty years of both frame and finish carpentry experience to Render Construction. His well rounded skill set and strong work ethic have been valuable assets to the company since joining Render Construction in 2005. Away from the job site Murph enjoys time spent with his wife and four sons, family, and outdoors.

Bob Turppa: Master Carpenter

Mr. Turppa has been in the custom home business from the early 1970’s. Bob’s problem solving abilities, mastery of custom built in cabinetry, complex millwork installations, and overall wealth of experience make him a vital part of the Render Construction Team. After the work day is done Bob enjoys time spent with his wife, daughters, grandchildren, and in an occasional fishing boat or curling club.

Chad Walker: Journeymen Carpenter & Equipment Operator

Growing up on a Northern Michigan farm Chad learned the meaning of hard work at a young age. Chad is a skilled operator of heavy equipment, a strong carpenter, and his efforts to maintain company tools and equipment play a vital role in the daily operations of the Render Construction Team.
