Property and Building Site Selection:

Render Construction has established relationships with numerous Northern Michigan real estate brokers. Whether you desire a lake or riverfront location, acreage, or a ski or golf resort property, Render Construction can help you find the location your dream home deserves. Once you have located a property or if you already own property we will assist you in the proper placement of your home on the building site. Render Construction will take several factors into account including site grades and drainage, accessibility, seasonal exposure, and optimal scenic views, to find the absolute best placement of your dream home or cottage.

Project Design and Planning:

Our clients are offered a number of options in this department. The Render Construction staff has over a decade of experience in Computer Aided Home Design. If you prefer to work with a professional architectural firm we can refer you to our preferred list of highly talented Northern Michigan architects. Occasionally our out of town clients choose to work with an architect in their own home town. In this case, Render Construction is available to offer advice regarding local building conditions and codes, and complex log and timber frame settling and joinery details.

Project Management:

From the earliest stages of planning through follow up calls after our clients move into their dream home, the Render Construction Project Management Team is committed to delivering the highest level of quality, service, and attention to detail. Through out the entire planning and construction process our clients are well informed whether they live across town or across the country. Render Construction clients able to log in to the company website and access their project information including a weekly digital photo library, schedule status, and billing information.

The Render Construction Team is comprised of our company employed log craftsmen and master frame and finish carpenters, along with Northern Michigan’s most knowledgeable and skilled sub and specialty contractors. Many of our competitors rely on an ever changing pool of subcontracted labor selected project by project based on the lowest price bid. In contrast, Render Construction prefers to build and maintain strong relationships with our team of subcontractors which are selected based on criteria including, quality of work, reliability, and service after the sale. During construction our clients will find all Render Construction employees and subcontractors to be polite, friendly, approachable on the jobsite, and willing to answer any questions they may have.
