For 11 years Mike and Molly Beauregard and their three children summered in Rhode Island. Over time, trips east became taxing for the Bloomfield Hills, MI couple. Family getaways turned to spending time closer to home at Molly’s parent’s cottage on Glen Lake, followed by selling their Block Island cottage with intentions of building a Nantucket-inspired home near Sleeping Bear Dunes.
